What Is the Canada PR Card Photo Editor?

The Canada PR Card photo editor is an online tool that helps you check, crop, and format an image for Canada PR card photo specifications. It is designed to help you prepare a photo preview based on official IRCC size, framing, and background rules.

How Does the Canada PR Photo Editor Work?

Upload your image, and the Canada PR Photo Checker reviews the photo format, crop, and framing against current PR card photo specifications. It helps you preview how your image should look when adjusted to the required size, head position, and background style.

How to Edit a Photo for PR Card?

To edit a photo for a PR card, you should only adjust technical elements such as crop, alignment, and size so the image matches IRCC’s permanent resident photo specifications. Use a Canada PR card photo editor like PhotoGov to center your face, set the correct 50×70 mm format (or required pixel range for online use), keep a plain white background, and ensure the head height is between 31 mm and 36 mm without retouching your facial features.

Can I Upload a Selfie to Check My PR Card Photo?

Can I Remove or Clean Up the Background of My Canada PR Card Photo?

Does the Online Tool Help Position My Face Correctly in the Frame?

Can I Make a PR Photo Online?

The digital photo you upload must be a professional‑quality image in the required pixel range (715×1000 to 2000×2800 pixels), a file size of 4 MB or less, and an accepted format, JPG or PNG.
